HANGETSU DINING TABLE

The Hangetsu Dining Table（半月 ダイニングテーブル）takes its name from the Japanese word for "half moon." Its D-shaped solid wood top has one straight side and one softly curved side. Crafted in Japan by Nagano Interior, it rests on four tapered, gently splayed solid wood legs, and it is the half-moon companion to our round Mangetsu ("full moon") Dining Table.

The straight side can sit flush against a wall, a window, or a dining bench or sofa, while the curved side keeps the table easy to move around and welcoming for guests. That makes the Hangetsu a practical choice for condos, apartments, breakfast nooks, and narrow dining areas where a full round table would take up too much floor space. Choose red oak for a light, natural grain or premium wood for a richer look, in the size that suits your space. The height adjusts from 62 to 72 cm, so it can be set at standard dining height or lowered to pair with a dining sofa or lower chairs.
