A-S01 SOFA 1 SEATER

Call it a 1-seater sofa or a very generous lounge — the A-S01 single is Ashizawa’s sculptural oak base under a deep, soft seat. Ideal as a pair flanking a coffee table, or alone in a reading corner.

As a single seat, the A-S01 is useful where a full sofa would be too much: beside a window, at the end of a sectional, or opposite a reading lamp. It has enough width to feel like a real lounge rather than an occasional chair, and two singles can frame a coffee table while keeping the room flexible for guests.

Its low profile comes from the Kinuta family, with a solid oak base, deep cushion, and broad arm that can take a book or a shoulder. Fabric or leather changes the temperature of the piece, and the oak finish changes how much the frame stands out. We can compare those samples with the ottoman or larger A-S01 pieces at Westhill before you settle on a pair.
