The A-BS02 is the backless stool for kitchens where the seat needs to disappear when it is not in use. At 42.5 by 35 cm, it tucks neatly under a counter and can be pulled out one-handed for breakfast, a homework session, or an extra place when friends arrive. Its lack of a back also makes a row feel visually quiet.

The 65 cm counter height is paired with Ashizawa’s solid-oak construction and a simple, carefully shaped perch rather than extra hardware. It works on its own or alongside the A-BS03 and A-HT01, with finish choices that let the stools blend into the island or stand apart from it.
