The A-BS03 adds a curved oak back to Ashizawa’s stool language — more support for long kitchen conversations, still light enough visually for a modern island.

The A-BS03 keeps the small footprint of a practical island stool but adds a curved oak back, so it is the better choice when people tend to stay and talk. The shaped back gives support without closing off the kitchen, and its proportions sit comfortably with the A-HT01 counter table or a suitably high island.

Wood, Kvadrat, or leather seat options let you decide whether the stool should feel like part of the architecture or more like an upholstered dining seat. Because this family is made in Japan and the height can vary by counter or bar configuration, we check the finished seat height against your counter before quoting the selected finish.
